Hello there and welcome to my new blog. I'll start out with a little about me:
My name is Shannon and I'm 31 years old.
I'm a social worker.
I've been married for almost 7 years and have an almost 2-year-old daughter.
I am an only child and a military brat.
I am in recovery from an eating disorder.
I am an introvert and I live a little too much inside my head.
In an effort to get out of my head and also increase my gratitude, I am creating this blog. I want to focus on the positve in the world and in everyday life, hence the blog title. I want to look for that little extra in ordinary life.
